WHAT'S MY EXPERIENCE?
I've had 6 fantasy novels released by major publishers: THE MERI, TAMINY, THE CRYSTAL ROSE, and THE SPIRIT GATE (Baen paperbacks, reprinted as trade paperbacks by Sense of Wonder Press), MAGIC TIME: ANGELFIRE (hardback, paperback and eBook from HarperEOS and audio book from Blackstone), and MR. TWILIGHT (with Michael Reaves).
I've also ghost written novels (BATMAN: FEAR ITSELF), memoirs (I'd tell you, but...), and screenplays, and edited same. One of my ghosted memoirs is an award nominee.
I've also published dozens of short fiction works in Analog, Amazing Stories, Realms of Fantasy, Interzone, Paradox, Baen's Universe and Century magazines, as well as articles on the craft of writing for Writer's Digest, Fiction, The Writer, the 1998 Writer's Handbook, and Speculations.
My work has been nominated for the Nebula and British Science Fiction Awards and the Sidewise Award for alternate history. I am a Locus magazine best first novelist nominee, and was also nominated for the John Campbell award for new writer. I have also written and edited articles for business trade journals and have 15 years of experience in writing instructional material for soft and computer skills. I have a background in multimedia design and implementation, and design CD covers as well.
I also have done professional voice-over work and have access to a digital studio in which to record.
All of the prices below are negotiable (for example, I'm willing to negotiate a flat fee for some projects). I try to be flexible, but hey -- a girl's gotta make a living!
